Small pizzas with roe and cream cheese. Perfect as a snack or starter. Created by Sofia Henriksson, a taste-proof food creator and winner of Sweden’s Master Chef 2020.
150 g cream cheese
1 dl créme fraiche
100 g of roe
1 egg yolk
1/2 red onion
1 bunch of chives
1 tbsp zest from a lemon
Small roe pizzas with Västerbottensost®
1. Mix cream cheese and almost all the cheese (save a little for topping) into a cream. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them all out into small pizzas and place on a baking sheet. Top with the cream, feel free to save a nice little pizza edge.
2. Then bake in the oven 250 degrees or more hot air / grill for 6 minutes approximately, you get to have a little control outside.
3. Then mix roe and egg yolk to get a creamy and lovely roe. Finely chop the red onion and chop the chives.
4. Top the pizzas with a few clicks of crème fraiche, roe, chives, red onion and zest from the lemon. Finally a little extra Västerbotten cheese and some freshly ground black pepper.
