Vegetarian dish with portabello mushrooms, hoisin sauce and pickled chili onions. This friday taco variant will be a success!
8 bao buns
150 g Västerbottensost, grated
4 portabello mushrooms or 12 large mushrooms
1 pc Clove of garlic, grated
1 cup Hoisin sauce
1/2 cup Olive oil
salt & pepper
1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Vinegar
1 cup Water
2 pcs Small red onions or one large one large
1 pc Red chili, finely sliced
1 pc Cucumber, in small cubes
8 Leaves crisp salad
1 cup Turkish yogurt
Coriander & Sesame Seed
Bao buns with portabello & Västerbottensost®
Sprinkle grated Västerbotten cheese on a baking sheet, bake golden and crispy at 200° for about 8 minutes until the cheese is nicely browned. Allow to cool and then crumble it into a crisp.
The cheese can be stored in a jar and used as a topping, for example, for salad or soup.
Mix the hoisin sauce with grated garlic and olive oil. Turn the portabellon whole with the sauce, salt and pepper, then roast it in the oven at 200° for 20 minutes, mushrooms about 10-15 minutes or until caramelized.

Boil a layer of vinegar, sugar and water, add red sliced chili.
Plan the onion into rings and put down in the layers, let cool.
Steamed when serving and served in bamboo baskets at the table along with diced cucumber, lettuce leaves, pickled chili onions and yogurt.
Tips! It is possible to replace bao buns with tortilla bread if desired.
