Crispy pie dumplings with filling on chanterelles, Västerbotten cheese and bacon. Excellent as a starter or snack!
Small muffin tins (or a large muffin tray)
250 g of Filo dough
50 g of melted butter
50 g butter
225 g chanterelles
about 250 g Västerbottensost
4 cups cream milk
1 packet of bacon
A bunch of chives
Salt & pepper
Crispy pie dumplings with Västerbottensost®
Pie crust: Cut or cut the filo dough into squares of about 10 centimeters.
Be sure to cover the filo dough with a damp towel when you are not working with it.
It dries easily and then becomes difficult to work with.
Brush the filo dough squares with melted butter and place the squares in small muffin tins or in a large muffin tray as shown in the film.
It should be 3-4 squares of each form.
Put them a little wraparound so that they form small tips.
Brush with the melted butter between each layer.
Filling: Fry the chanterelles, along with bacon and pumpkin pieces in the butter.
Salt, pepper and set aside.
Grate Västerbottensost coarsely and place in bowl.
Hatch the eggs, add cream milk, mix in a little chopped chives and whisk together.
Salt and pepper.
Distribute fried chanterelle stir-fry in the molds interspersed with the filling.
Bake for 20-30 minutes or until the dough turns a little golden brown and the filling is no longer loose.
