{"id":43623,"date":"2018-05-07T21:24:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-07T19:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.vasterbottensost.com\/recept\/au-gratin-beets-with-vasterbottensost-cheese\/"},"modified":"2023-01-24T15:28:30","modified_gmt":"2023-01-24T15:28:30","slug":"au-gratin-beets-with-vasterbottensost-cheese","status":"publish","type":"recipes","link":"https:\/\/vasterbottensost.com\/en\/recipe\/au-gratin-beets-with-vasterbottensost-cheese\/","title":{"rendered":"Au gratin beets with V\u00e4sterbottensost cheese\u00ae"},"content":{"rendered":"&#13;\n<p>6 people, oven 175 degrees<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rodbetor\">BEETROOT<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>5 beets<br\/>100 g V\u00e4sterbottensost cheese<br\/>100 g salad mix<br\/>1 dl cr\u00e8me fraiche<br\/>1\u20442 tsp pepper<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"karamelliserade-notter\">CARAMELIZED NUTS<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>1\u20442 dl honey<br\/>1\u20442 tablespoons olive oil<br\/>1\u20442 cups sugar<br\/>2 cups hazelnuts<br\/>Flake salt<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><em>Au gratin beets<\/em>: Cook the beets for about 40 minutes until they become soft, peel and slice them into slices about 1 cm thick and place in an ovenproof dish.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>Grate V\u00e4sterbottensost coarsely and mix with cr\u00e8me fraiche and pepper. Place a dollop of cheese cr\u00e8me on each beetroot slice and quickly au gratin in the oven about 5-10 minutes.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><em>Caramelized nuts<\/em>: Heat honey, olive oil and sugar in a hot skillet until melted. Then add the chopped nuts and stir.
