{"id":43559,"date":"2018-05-07T21:01:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-07T19:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.vasterbottensost.com\/recept\/fried-chicken-and-smoky-dip-with-vasterbottensost\/"},"modified":"2023-02-27T09:22:15","modified_gmt":"2023-02-27T09:22:15","slug":"fried-chicken-and-smoky-dip-with-vasterbottensost","status":"publish","type":"recipes","link":"https:\/\/vasterbottensost.com\/en\/recipe\/fried-chicken-and-smoky-dip-with-vasterbottensost\/","title":{"rendered":"Fried chicken and smoky dip with V\u00e4sterbottensost\u00ae"},"content":{"rendered":"&#13;\n<p>6 servings<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>2 cloves of garlic<br\/>1 lemon<br\/>1 tablespoon paprika powder 1\u20442 teaspoons chili powder<br\/>1 1\u20442 dl milk<br\/>2 eggs<br\/>600 g of chicken fillets<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"panering\">BREADING<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>2 1\u20442 dl panko<br\/>2 dl breadcrumbs<br\/>Taste-neutral oil, eg. rapeseed oil<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rokig-dip\">SMOKY DIP<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>2 yellow onions<br\/>2 tablespoons of oil<br\/>2 tablespoons smoky barbeque sauce<br\/>1 cup V\u00e4sterbottensost, grated (preferably V\u00e4sterbottensost\u00ae Vindelnr\u00f6kt)<br\/>1 1\u20442 dl mayonnaise<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>Peel and grate the garlic. Rinse and scrub the lemon in lukewarm water. Grate the outermost peel of the lemon.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>Mix garlic, lemon zest, paprika powder, chili powder, sour milk and eggs to form a smooth batter. Turn the chicken around in batter and let it stand and soak for at least an hour.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><em>Bsupply<\/em>: Mix panko and breadcrumbs. Bread the chicken in the mixture.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><em>Smoky dip<\/em>: Peel and slice the onion thinly. Fry the onion in the oil over medium heat until it becomes properly soft and acquires a nice light brown color. Turn down the barbeque sauce towards the end of frying. Let the onion get properly cold. Mix onion, grated V\u00e4sterbotten cheese and mayonnaise in a food processor until the sauce is smooth.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><em>Frying<\/em>: Heat the oil in a thick-bottomed pan, preferably with a high edge, to about 160 \u030aC, have a lid on hand during the deep frying.
