{"id":43341,"date":"2020-11-25T21:17:00","date_gmt":"2020-11-25T21:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.vasterbottensost.com\/recept\/carrot-cake-with-cream-cheese-of-vasterbottensost\/"},"modified":"2023-01-24T15:20:39","modified_gmt":"2023-01-24T15:20:39","slug":"carrot-cake-with-cream-cheese-of-vasterbottensost","status":"publish","type":"recipes","link":"https:\/\/vasterbottensost.com\/en\/recipe\/carrot-cake-with-cream-cheese-of-vasterbottensost\/","title":{"rendered":"Carrot cake with cream cheese of V\u00e4sterbottensost\u00ae"},"content":{"rendered":"&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"farskost\">Cream cheese<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>300 g grated V\u00e4sterbottensost cheese\u00ae<br\/>150 g of room-warm butter<br\/>5 cups icing sugar<br\/>3 tsp vanilla sugar<br\/>1\/2 lemon, the juice<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"pajlov\">Pie leaves<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>1.5 dl wheat flour<br\/>50 g of cold butter<br\/>1 tbsp water<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"knack\">Crackle<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>2 cups whipped cream<br\/>2 cups light syrup<br\/>2 cups granulated sugar<br\/>1 cup chopped almonds<br\/>2 tablespoons butter<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>Preheat the oven to 175\u00b0 and grease a roasting pan with butter and breadcrumbs.<br\/>Melt the butter in a saucepan.<br\/>Crack the eggs into a bowl, pour in sugar and beat with electric whisk porously. Then turn down the melted butter.<br\/>Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, then turn down a little at a time into the soaked<br\/>Batter. Whisk everything together into a smooth batter.<br\/>Peel and grate the carrots and turn down. Mix evenly.<br\/>Bake for 30 minutes and let cool completely.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"farskost-1\">Cream cheese<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>Finely grate V\u00e4sterbottensost and beat the cheese with the butter with an electric whisk. Add the icing sugar,<br\/>the vanilla sugar and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth and fine. Leave in the refrigerator 15<br\/>Minutes.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"pajlov-1\">Pie leaves<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>Cut the butter into small pieces.<br\/>Pinch together flour and butter in a food processor into a crumbly mass. To then put the water and work it together quickly into a dough.<br\/>Let rest in the refrigerator 30 minutes.<br\/>Then bake for 15 minutes at 225\u00b0C.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"knack-1\">Crackle<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>In a thick-bottomed saucepan, mix cream, syrup and sugar. Stir occasionally until the temperature is 124\u00b0.<br\/>Add almonds and butter and spread out on a baking sheet and let cool before crushing the crunch.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>Spread on the frosting on the carrot cake.
