When sweet meets salt

Broken chocolate with pistachios and flakes of Västerbottensost. A dessert wine or a spicy rum that matches the sweetness of the chocolate.

50 g grated Västerbottensost
200 g dark chocolate, 55 %
10 cl peeled pistachio nuts
Sea salt flakes


Place the grated Västerbottensost on a baking plate with baking paper and bake in the oven for about 5 minutes at 225 °C until it takes on a fine colour. Leave to cool and break into flakes. Roughly chop the pistachio nuts. Melt the chocolate on a low heat in a saucepan. Pour the melted chocolate onto the baking paper and top with nuts and cheese. Finish with the sea salt flakes. Leave to cool and break into pieces later.
