Herring with Västerbottensost Cheese and Potatoes


Follow these steps


Serves 4

10 fresh potatoes
2 lemon slices
3 tsp. salt
50 g grated Västerbottensost cheese

Boil the potatoes for about 15 minutes with salt and the lemon slices.
When they are done, cut them into halves and mix with the Västerbottensost cheese, salt and pepper

Herring with Västerbottensost cheese:
2 herring fillets
25 g butter
2 Tbsp. crème fraîche
100 g grated Västerbottensost cheese
½ a red onion
1 bunch of chives

Melt the butter and allow to cool. Chop the onion and chives. Cut the herring fillets into thin slices. Blend all the ingredients, season with salt and pepper.

Serve with:
5 thinly sliced radishes
2 tbsp sour cream
